The NHL 2015 Draft has come and gone. This year we saw 4 Barrie Colts get selected by NHL teams. That ties it as the second most successful draft for Colts players in team history with 1997 draft. The only year more Barrie Colts were drafted was at the 1999 Draft when 6 players were selected by NHL teams.
After last draft, we joked around about how the 3 selected Colts Aaron Ekblad, Brendan Lemieux and Kevin Labanc were the famous wrestling group known as the 'NWO'. Well, we have decided that this years would be known as the 'Four Horsemen'. (Somewhere, there is at least one wrestling geek loving this..)
Here is how the updated history of the Colts at the NHL Draft looks since this past weekend.
