Colts Prospects invited to Hockey Canada's National U17 Development Camp.


Barrie Colt prospects Givani Smith (Drafted by the Colts in the 1st round, 13th overall) and Sam Dunn (Drafted in the 3rd round, 46th overall) have both been invited to Hockey Canada's National U17 Development Camp.

It was announced today by Hockey Canada (in partnership with the CHL) today the list of 96 skaters who have been invited to attend Canada’s national under-17 development camp, July 29 to Aug. 4 at the Markin MacPhail Centre in Calgary.

All of the selected players have either already been drafted by an OHL team or are listed by a CHL team. The breakdown of where the players were selected is as follows.



35 from the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).
32 from the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).
29 from the Western Hockey League (WHL). 
 
The roster includes 36 defencemen and 60 forwards total.
